When attacking a human, the malaria parasite plasmodium sporozit form, which in turn will lead to the liver through the bloodstream and become mature in the place. Once mature, the parasite will invade red blood cells.

At that time the symptoms of malaria began to appear. If the person is bitten by an Anopheles mosquito again, the parasite in red blood cells the person will go back into the mosquito’s body and multiply there. That’s how the cycle happens over and over again.

Symptoms of the disease include high fever, chills or stiffness in the whole body, trembling, out of excessive sweating, weakness, fatigue, headache, nausea, and vomiting. If left untreated, malaria can cause death.

Malaria is preventable and treatable. Prevention of malaria can be done by avoiding mosquito bites, such as sleep in mosquito nets. Avoid going out at night without protection because at night the mosquitoes are typically more active.
